Project Content


Partner
The project CORELOG (Co-ordinated Regional Logistics) is lead by Regione Emiglia Romana Italy. Partners in Austria are the Province of Styria, the Austrian Ministry for Economical Affairs Vienna and Austrian Mobility Research Graz. Other European partners are PriceWaterhouseCoopers Advisory S.r.l. Milano Italy, Heraklion Port Authority S.A. Heraklion, the Aristoteles University Thessaloniki Greece, the Széchenyi István University Gyor Hungary, the University Maribor Slovenia and the Institute for Logistics and Warehousing Poznan Poland.

Aims
CORELOG focuses on the following targets:

Anaylsis of influencing factors in supply chains
  • Flow of goods and regional development
  • Role of the actors and influences on the regional development (transport, industry and spatial planning)
Supporting and Promoting co-operation in logistics
  • Spread of information on all levels
  • Show cases
Specification/development of supportive solutions
  • ICT /Telematics
  • Innovative Logistics

Working plan
The project comprises the following steps:
  • Inception/Start-up report
  • Identification of business requirements regarding supply chains
  • SWOT analysis of the supply chains
  • Description of best cases for the region
  • Guidelines for setting up co-ordinated logistics
  • Pilot projects
  • Feasibility analyis of the transferability of the pilot projects
